Positive: Lokacija je dobra Negative: this has nothing to do with the deluxe apartment, the apartment is below average, the washing machine did not work, the hood did not work, cold air was constantly passing through the balcony windows and doors, and at the time of our arrival it was -20 degrees. the kitchen is tiny, missing pots and colanders. they did not respond to messages. all in all, absolutely overrated. the pictures say one thing, but the reality is completely different.
Once we had found it, it was a perfect base to explore and stay in Rovaniemi for a pre-Christmas break. Lovely. Positive: Having never been to somewhere this cold before, the apartment was lovely and cosy. It had all the amenities we needed and were happy to return here after each day sightseeing. It was clean and comfortable and quiet but so so close and local to all the shops and amenities. Perfect. Negative: We didn’t even try to check in until the evening of the first day and that was a big mistake. It is so so so so hard to find the entrance. We walked round and round, getting colder and more fed up, in the end we went into a shop and a kindly Finnish man was able to call the people and find out exactly where we needed to be? Clearer directions and a sign AT LEAST?? Should be at front of building to point people who are searching in the right direction!
