Alles im Allem eine gute Wahl mit kleinen Abstrichen. Positive: Positiv hervorzuheben ist die insgesamt sehr angenehme Ausstattung der Unterkunft. Besonders die Fußbodenheizung hat für zusätzlichen Komfort gesorgt, ebenso wie die zwei vorhandenen Toiletten. Die Einrichtung war insgesamt schön gestaltet und umfangreich ausgestattet. Auf der Terrasse standen gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten sowie ein Gasgrill zur Verfügung, was den Aufenthalt zusätzlich aufgewertet hat. Außerdem gab es eine Sauna, die wir zwar nicht genutzt haben, die aber ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist. Überraschend war auch, dass ein Airfryer zur Küchenausstattung gehörte. Die Küche selbst war insgesamt in Ordnung ausgestattet und für einen Drei-Personen-Haushalt vollkommen ausreichend. Alles in allem ist die Unterkunft durchaus empfehlenswert – vorausgesetzt, die genannten Kritikpunkte werden zukünftig behoben. Negative: Während unseres Aufenthalts sind uns einige Mängel aufgefallen. Der Föhn hatte einen Wackelkontakt und war daher nur eingeschränkt nutzbar. Im linken Schlafzimmer (mit einem Bett) funktionierte das Deckenlicht nicht. Zudem waren auf einigen Couchkissen sowie auf dem Polster der Recamiere-Futon-Couch Flecken vorhanden, und die Couch selbst hatte einen unangenehmen Eigengeruch. Auch die Sauberkeit ließ teilweise zu wünschen übrig. Der Filter der Spülmaschine war stark verschmutzt und wurde von uns zunächst gereinigt. Außerdem befand sich vor der Spülmaschine ein klebriger Abdruck auf dem Boden, vermutlich von einem früheren Gerät. Insgesamt war die Unterkunft in Ordnung, jedoch besteht in Bezug auf Sauberkeit und Instandhaltung noch Verbesserungsbedarf.

It was also very comfortable to be able to chill out after a busy day. Negative: We couldn’t always get the underfloor heating on. We had to use the A/C unit a couple of times to warm up the living area. Also the lights didn’t work in one of the bedrooms. It would be a good idea to even have a lamp as our kids didn’t like that. Lastly a couple more pillow cases for the spare pillows.

Zauberhaft Positive: Die Unterkunft ist wirklich toll und gut ausgestattet; naturnah und dennoch in 5 Minuten mit dem Auto im Zentrum von Rovaniemi. Tagesausflüge in die Amethysten-Miene oder Auttiköngäs sind mit dem Auto innerhalb von ein bis zwei Stunden erreichbar. Wir konnten uns sehr gut dort erholen und haben die Polarlichter genossen. Negative: Leider war der Außenbereich (Tisch, Stühle und Grill) dreckig. Die Stühle und Tisch mussten wir erst einmal selbst reinigen, den Grill haben wir nicht genutzt.

Overpriced and disappointing Positive: It was nice to have the space during our trip. It was close enough to town and were able to be picked up for some tours. Management did assist when contacted. Negative: Unfortunately there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, the microwave was dirty inside and so was the oven. One room had a double bed and was uncomfortable, and the other room had a mattress on top of a timber frame on the floor. This was also uncomfortable. The fireplace is not operational. For the price we paid, this was definitely a disappointing stay, and we would not recommend this property.
